You are dealing with an anchor in a closish race situation right now. If you hit you send my spare checker back and I won't be able to play those pips that I would be playing over the next two rolls. Another minor detail is that if you hit I think I'm more likely to break my board quicker. [guesstimating]

You will have no problem rolling your prime forward after you hit, so that shouldn't be a concern.

I don't buy the rollout scmollout argument unless you can back it up with a why. The same reason I've stopped listening to ppl telling me things like "Sure, that's what Snowie says but ..." or "I don't care what the bot says" etc... I'll start listening to these people when they start beating the bots. Other than known weaknesses in the bots I will always listen to them over 99.9% of human players.
