If Veronica has a take then it's not that likely Betty has a double. (Look away, Stick. It's because the doubling window is so narrow at this score and with these gammon chances.) QF says otherwise. :)

Takepoint is around 7% here, by my calc. Can Brunette win this often? If she can get her three checkers on the 7-point into the board before getting closed out I think her chances are in the 3-4% range. This is far from Brunette's most optimistic scenario. Blondie still hasn't made a full prime, although every roll either hits or makes the 7-point.

22/36 of the time Betty hits loose, 11/36 Veronica return hits, and 16/36 of those are fans. That's about 8%. Can Veronica with 1/2 the time from there? I'm guessing not quite, but we're getting close. I'm taking.
