Several options to consider here. I was actually thinking of 13/7(2), which would make a very solid forward position. But leaving four blots on Stick's side of the board and giving up the midpoint must be too high a price to pay, even when taking into account the lack of development on his side of the board.

8/2*(2) leaves Stick off balance, but going that deep is not very tempting. More like a blitz play, but this is not a blitz.

Making the 3-point with 6/3(2) seems OK, but how to play the two remaining 3's constructively? Moreover, it's the 4-point we really want, and stripping the 6-point is not the way to do it.

I'm going for 16/10 13/10 24/21. This cleans up one blot, and making the 10-point is an improvement. I don't see any big drawbacks to this play.
