GNUbg 0.16 single thread does not have any issue (well, that's a huge statement), hence you can use it running multiple instances on multi-core machines.

The problem exists only in multi-thread version and has apparently been fixed in Linux/Unix versions, but not in Windows ones. For the savvy ones, the source code is not realy the same: the Windows build may use the glib thread (like unix/linux) or the windows threads, but glib-win version crashes and windows version doesn't even compile at the moment.

I'm the one that creates the Win distribs you can download on gnubg.org, but until a developper fixes the win-multi-thread issue, you'll have to run multilpe instances.
