0.14 vs. 0.16

You can run multiple instances of 0.14, too.

I did a short study a few months ago that seemed to show that 0.14 was quite a bit faster (~15%) than 0.16. This was on Win/XP64 OS and AMD X2 4600.

So, if I'm right (someone should definitely check me), is there a reason NOT to use 0.14 if you're just running single instances?
