...Blue moons are caused by atmospheric dust, usually volcano ash or forest fires, to translate, I live in Ohio, not many forest fires or volcanos around here.

If this were someone else I might let it go. And there is A) the chance that you just said this as a joke, trying to bait me, or B) you really meant it but now that I point it out, even though you were serious, you'll now say that you were joking. (The latter is the standard poker 'expert' response as to why s/he did something apparently stupid at the table -- "I had a read...")

A blue moon is the second full moon of the calender month. Not quite as rare as the saying would have you believe.

Now, back to backgammon.
