I don't think we should leave the blot there just because we can, or even to enable us to start the 2 point. We can win without the 2 point, and I'd rather have no blot there if something shakes loose quickly. But outfield control is a Good Thing in that case, so 16/11, 16/14 for me. This leaves us with no risk of snagging on the 16 point, and plenty of time to fill our board in.
