This must be the roll that makes the minor split correct.

I can only find two plays I like; 8/4 6/4 and 24/20 13/11. I suppose the other split, 13/9 24/22, might be contender; it has better building prospects and isn't so vulnerable on White's side of the board. The direct shot is costly, though.

I'm inclined to stick with making the four point. It's a solid asset for the rest of the game. It will be sad if the 8-point blot is hit, but it's no disaster because White has no board.

The long split is OK, but it comes Under The Gun, and the 11-point chequer is ill-placed now that Blue has already made the five point.

Swan's 24/18 isn't my cup of tea at all. Offering 1s, 3s and 6s in an attempt for an outside point is too much for me.
