Life Rules - need suggestions

Agree with most of it though it's 'too adult' for a 15 yo. I don't agree with optimum amount of tv time = 0 and a tv is a must have. There is nothing I tune in to at all in more on a weekly basis as where I was growing up I'd watch Cheers one night, Dukes of Hazzard another, Saturday morning cartoons, etc... but nowadays I don't like any of the new shows which means I'm getting old, period. I still need a tv for movies though as there are plenty of good movies worth watching. There are also some tv shows I don't mind watching if I get the entire series on DVD and thus can watch them when I want w/no commercials. Lastly, she likes French, I love French, I'm sure the time will come when I can sucker her into watch French films or even something like The Smurfs in French! [Les schtroumpfs, c'est de la bombe!}
