Hitting with 6/2*(2) is not so appealing I think, Stick has the anchor and making the two point is too deep. Running with 24/16 and then playing 13/9(2) is consistent with our race lead, but it doesn't really put the checkers where we want them and we are still left with a one point home board. I'll play 13/5(2). We have to go for the 5-point sooner or later, and now we have the chance to make it without leaving blots. The drawback is it leaves the straggler still on the 24-point, and it strips the midpoint. Still I think it's worth it. The five point is a permanent asset that we really need.
