Bigger gap or fewer gaps?

I don't know precisely how one is supposed to look at these things. 7/6 7/2 seems right to me, although the margin of error is pretty surprising. There's a big swing on White's 44 (since 33 is 1) still blocked and 2) smaller). On the other hand, Green's clearing 33 doesn't play very well after 8/7 8/3 next time. But mostly I just want to play 7/6 7/2 because it gets spares to the right places, on the 6 point and slotting the open point. That leaves 3 builders to attack White if he runs, vs. only 2 with 8/7 8/3. A spare on the 6 and two outside checkers allow Green to swallow rolls like 63 and 65 next, which otherwise leave a shot after clearing the 8.
