This tournament is like a real old dog. You know when your dog gets to be 13 or 14? It can hardly see, it doesn't remember you at all, it smells disgusting, it pisses and shits all over the carpet. Yet you recall the earlier and more joyful days, when you gamboled and frolicked and loved each other without bound. But at last you come to the conclusion (all your friends have made this conclusion years before) that the halycion days are gone. You weep, you buck up your courage, you put the poor old miserable thing out of its misery.
