With a 28-pip lead, the game plan is to play safe.

The eight point is still a valuable landing spot for now, so I reject (8/6, 8/4). That leaves 10/4 and (10/8, 6/2) as the only viable safe plays. Since the latter allows us to play a roll of 6-2 without abandoning any of the outside points, it is my choice. I'm not concerned about ECP and wastage just yet, otherwise, 10/4 would be the play.

My move: 10/8, 6/2
