You don't have to adjust much, to end up at 4.23 - if your base play is 2.7ish.
Keep that in mind, the 2.7 is not deliberate errors or adjustments of any kind, that is the "error white noise" always there.
So that makes 4.23 no more than 1.5 PR worth of deliberate adjustments.
Keep in mind that adjustments towards weaker players are self reinforcing (generates even higher PRs indirectly). If you are presented with a small take that you elect to pass, you don't get all the non-contact and bear-off moves to count towards your PR. The same goes for your opponent so it doesn't affect PR difference, but when "just" looking at absolute PRs for one player, it has an effect. Same goes for small missed doubles, that can be repeated several rolls in sequence (more or less the same decision). it builds up PR, even though it turns out to be a correct delay (eg. opponent makes a mistake and passes a take or takes a pass).
