In Response To: GNU error rating vs. XG PR (Timothy Chow)

The threshold for cube action to be "non-obvious" is 0.200 equity

As for the "double action where the Equity before and after double is very negative" this is to filter out end of match position where you have very little chance of winning and the threshold is -0.900.

For instance, the following cube is not considered a decision even though it is under the 0.200 limit

is Player 2

score: 2
pip: 14
5 point match
pip: 92
score: 0

is Player 1
XGID=-BBCCB------------BA--bcb-:1:1:1:00:0:2:0:5:10
on roll, cube action?

Analyzed in 3 ply
Player Winning Chances: 0.00% (G: 0.00% B: 0.00%)
Opponent Winning Chances:100.00% (G: 87.64% B: 0.00%)
Cubeless Equities
No Redouble:-1.791
Redouble:-1.902
Cubeful Equities
No Redouble:-1.791
Redouble/Take:-1.902 (-0.111)
Redouble/Drop:+1.000 (+2.791)
Best Cube action: No Redouble / Take

eXtreme Gammon Version: 1.11, MET: g11

I'll update the help file with these numbers.
