1. I believe that White's second checker is far enough back that we should try for the gammons with 5/2* 4/2. 4/1 3/1 isn't going to be completely safe anyway. Not a clear decision for me, though.

2. I seem to recall a position similar to this where the correct move was the unintuitive 6/off 6/4. However, that seems too risky here. I would play 6/2(2).

3. 51$-31H is correct but this is 43D-51$-31. I still hit but it's not as clear because we have so many blots scattered around now.

4. White is not happy about her straggler but since she is not far behind in the race and has a three-point board, I think she can take. D/T.

5. 66 65 64 62 61 55 54 53 43 42 all leave a direct shot and a couple other rolls leave White with some chances too. The take seems clear and I don't think I'd double. ND/T.
