Carlo Melzi

I was born in Milan on 13/09/1974. I have been playing backgammon since the early 90s, becoming soon one of the most considered players in Italy.

I started playing online on FIBS and GamesGrid with the nickname "melzi", and held a rating around 2000 on both servers for many years.

International successes include 1st place in 2008 Paris PGT tournament, Consolation Winner in Venice 2007, 1st place in 1999 Oslo Open, 2nd place in Venice 2001.

I am also the co-author of "Il grande libro del backgammon", and Italian Backgammon Champion in 1996, 2001, 2007, 2008.
