E!

E! (or Ed) Rosenblum has been an avid backgammon player for 37 years. He groomed his game in the Northern NJ Backgammon Club. After bouncing around through Chicago and the Bay area, he settled in Santa Fe New Mexico in May, 2008. Unfortunately for E!, no backgammon club existed and he and his beautiful wife Penina whiled away the hours playing with each other.

In January, 2009 the Backgammon Club of Santa Fe was formed and E! discovered it six months later. There, E! met Ed Bennett. The synergy was immediate. Together, the two journeyed off to Colorado with a contingent of Santa Fe Backgammon Club players. E! finished second in the Open, only losing to Larry Taylor on the last roll of DMP. However, his love of Backgammon was re-kindled stronger than ever.

Over the next two months, E!, Ed, and a host of wonderful and supportive people from the backgammon community worked feverishly to put together the New Mexico State Backgammon Championship. It was a spiritual mission in "The Land of Enchantment" and E! wishes to express his appreciation to all who have helped make this possible.
