Hi all,

I started playing two years ago, and then stopped due to work committments. I have started again at the local club and love playing and competing. I took a subscription to gammonvillage magazine and hope to compete in tournaments and travel one day.

I would say im getting better in understanding the cruelty of the game, but need to go a fair way to improve as a player.

I am an ex chess player, but realise this is a completely different game. A little learning goes a long way!!
