OT: Impressive: JAPAN is Soccer World Champion / Females

Congratulations!

What a hell of a match:

Japan was 1-0 down, equalized, got to the 30 min overtime, was 2-1 down again and scored the 2-2 five minutes before the end!

WOW!

Especially the way how they never got nervous during the match, despite the overwhelming first 30 minutes where the US team missed a bunch of excellent chances to score. Japan just kept playing it cool.

In the penalty shoot out US team was just disappointing. Nerves, pressure, psychology? Shit happens.

Except for these last ten minutes, the US team impressed me with their attitude to never surrender during the whole tournament and also had a phantastic comeback in the match against Brazil, where Wombach scored in the very last minute of the extra time. Very great team spirit!
