Streaming from Monte Carlo - problems

The first stream from yesterday was great, but it seems there were some bandwidth problems.

Next streams used lower resolution video and that caused known problem - dice were unreadable!


As we weren't able to see numbers on dice, we had a chat about trying to solve that problem. Here are some of those ideas, hoping that today's stream would be better:

- Please lower the camera so that board fits exactly on video screen. Seeing bear-off trays isn't important. Make playing surface as big as it gets on the screen.
- You probably can't use smaller board (with 1.5" checkers instead of 1.75"), but if you could - that would help as dice would be relatively bigger.
- Please test the visibility of dots on various dice. Yesterday's darker dice had better visibility than brighter one.
- If you can lower FPS manually via software (as low as 8 FPS!), that would reduce bandwidth - maybe that would be enough to enable higher-resolution videos!!
