Opening book/bgonline differences

I can’t memorize tables. In front of my mind’s eye there is not popping up a picture if i read 41$-44. I have to see several times the picture of a board and it’s nactation for burning in. So i spent a little time to make an informator . Nack Ballard has grouped often moves. So do i. For the second move i am working for the doublets at first. Coming to XX-44, the standard structure is B. Then i went on the deviants. For example 41$-44 the XG opening book gives a kC(?), “killing cross”, but the 4xD-44 data gives a “killing B”(saw the agg.). And 41S-44 a K(XGRoller++). How valuable is the opening book? Which data XG2 is taking into account?
