USBGF ANNOUNCES MONTHLY LECTURE SERIES

The USBGF is pleased to announce a new Monthly Lecture Series, free to all members – Premium, Youth, and Limited -- featuring many of the top professional players and teachers in the world. On the first Wednesday of each month, at 8PM Central time, members will be able to log in to a Webex and listen to a half hour lecture on a specific topic, followed by question and answer for up to another half hour.
Education Advisor and Ask The Pro columnist Phil Simborg will moderate and coordinate the lectures which will feature guest lecturers including Stick, John O’Hagan, Steve Sax, Mary Hickey, Perry Gartner and others.
The first lecture will be on August 3rd at 8 pm Central time and will be a Lecture/Quiz called The Last Man (or Mary) Standing with Phil Simborg and John O’Hagan providing explanations of Quiz problems. This is a repeat of the lecture given at the Michigan State Championships in July which was extremely well-received. Tom Keith of Backgammon Galore said, “It is the best lecture I have ever attended at a Backgammon tournament.”
