As Stick said in a previous rant, sometimes it takes a few days (both for him to send something off, and for GG support to respond). If it is already beyond a week, try the following:

If you are a member there (which I think you are), you should be able to do this yourself. Just email your friend's first and last name, his email address, and his desired GG nickname to support@gridgammon.com, of course mentioning your nickname as well. GG will usually email the prospective member with a handful of additional questions to respond to before they approve him.
