Bearoff against contact: what are your options?

Unfortunately, I could talk myself into 3 or 4 of the legal plays and make it.

Fortunately, I picked the correct move here (much to my surprise in the postgame analysis).

Unfortunately, I am still confused why and how to rank the different plays.

POH? Pick and pass? Off? Other?

Any comment is appreciated.
