Well done on the retrofit and Nactation. I arrived late, but I'm just confirming there is no shorter sequence.

Equal-length sequences (well played): Replace the first two plays (64S-53R) with 64S-62R, 63S-63R, 63S-54R, or 62S-64R, coupled with replacing the fourth play (52P) with 52P, 42P, 42P or 32P, respectively. Independently, replace the third play (52@) with 61@, or with 43@ in some cases.

[Out of habit, I wrote 53R as 53H in the caption, same thing.]

To reach the variant positions (posted by Mr. Majestyk), replace the fifth play (53P) with 64P, 42P or 31P.
