Playing for cash online without paying a rake

I have actually done this a few times with a good friend of mine.

Here is what we are doing:

1. Since we are playing individual games instead of matches we chose pogo.com (I haven't done a lot of research but pogo's interface seems adequate.)

2. We contact each other to set up a time to play.

3. As we play we keep track of the score and confirm with each other after every game (e.g., "I'm +5", "OK".)

3. We settle up monthly or sooner if either is up by 100 points.

Since most sites allow watchers I am sure this could be expanded to allow chouette.

Of course, if you don't know the other person well do it at your own risk (I have known him for over 25 years so there is absolutely no risk of not getting paid if either person wins, well, especially at the stakes we play.)
