Touch (Lift) moves and online play

This morning a Bosnian player opened a chat to me on GridGammon. As they're used to a touch moves from live tournaments, he told me many players are "rude". he was complaining how it can be 1 minute players spend on some moves and try different positions multiple times before they decide .

He's disgusted by online take-backs multiple times back and forth.

I know it's probably a cultural misunderstandings...but have you had any similar experiences if people often take back and forth moves before they decide. It can irritate opponents.

Would it be smart to introduce touch moves online (No UNDO button)?
