OLM Protocol

I'd like to outline a few protocol issues for the OLM:

• Please state your vote clearly. The best thing to do is to write everything you want to write, and even if you state your preference in your exposition, write your vote on a separate line before or after your text. If you want a hero to emulate, do it like Chuck Bower does it. When I tabulate, I sometimes have five minutes to squeeze in (which is why I sometimes miscount votes) and get it done.

• In general, those +1 responses seem popular on this site, but it's not possible for me to count them as votes, so if you're intending them as votes, sorry, I won't do it. I view threads in Guestbook style, meaning I don't see a tree to see who the +1's are following. If you mean them as mere commentary, that's fine, but they're not votes.

• I really think it is best if you write and vote before reading anything in the thread. This is just going to remain a strong suggestion.
