Question about time spending for a move.

I always wondered how much time players spend in their moves, how much time in official tournaments and how the arbiters or the players themselves handle this.

One at a time:

On normal/informal matches:
a)How much on average do you spend thinking on a move before playing it? Also how much at most you had spent for a (difficult-obviously) move?

On formal matches/official tournaments, e.g World Championship:
b)The same question.

c)Since i've noticed there is not time limitation for a move or for the whole game for Backgammon, how the time situation is handled? I mean, can a player think for 2 minutes for a move? Obviously he can if there is no clock keeping, and he can also spend 5 minutes but that would be ridiculous, so we just rely on fair play and logic of every player not to do such thing?

d)How much time on average, a move lasts?

By the way where can i find the official rules of Backgammon World Championship?
