Tablet PC - sounds good. Manual dice? Software?

The tablet PC solution sounds attractive indeed. Enforcing legal moves can only be a bonus: less disputes, less work for the tournament director...
Manual dice are mandatory in order to avoid any suspicion that the computer's pseudo-random number generator has been tampered with. Is this possible in Backgammon NJ ?
One can choose between, on the one hand, playing directly on the tablet or, on the other hand, playing on a physical board and recording the match on the tablet.
Besides Backgammon NJ on iPad, does there exist similar software for other operating systems, e.g. Android ? Are there tablet PCs on which one can install a version of GNU ?
