Yes, if Chuck doesn't enter the next Masters his chances to be a double finalist are poor, aren't they ;-

Anyway, in real life ABT tournaments, since Jan. 2009 there have been 45 tournaments with a Masters or Super Jackpot in addition to the Open (not counting the most recent tournament in Colorado). In those 45 tournaments there were seven double finalists (1st or 2nd in both the Open and the Masters). They were:

In 2009, nobody.

2010New York MetroAl Hodis2nd in Open (51), 1st in Masters (26)
2010PittsburghSean Garber2nd in Open (63), 2nd in Masters (31)
2010CSIJohn O'Hagan2nd in Open (52), 2nd in Masters (16)
2010MichiganKit Woolsey1st in Open (83), 2nd in Masters (32)
2010MinnesotaMatt Cohn-Geier1st in Open (22), 1st in Masters (8)
2011Golden GateRalf Jonas1st in Open (31), 2nd in Masters (14)
2011Florida Malcolm Davis1st in Open (24), 1st in Masters (10)

So Alfred Mamlet's showing in Colorado (1st in Open, 2nd in Masters) makes 8 double finalists, in 46 tournaments.

Average Open and Master field size from January 2009 through September 2011 (Wisconsin):

Open: 45.3

Masters: 18.5
