PEORIA UPDATE

It's early Friday morning so not much to report, except that there are 27 pre-registered in the Open and it looks to be a pretty competitive field. Toby came in from Europe and drove down with me and Harvey Gillis (from Washington) and I saw Al Hodes, Coolrey, Hickey, Rockwell, and of course the very dangerous Larry Liebster....I know Carol is coming, and John O'Hagan arrives Saturday morning.

I'm going to do the Calcutta with what is now called the Peoria Calcutta, where the winning bidder gets to pick his Calcutta partner or put the two-man team together.

Last year Carter beat me in the finals of this tournament, so with him not coming this year, I should have little trouble winning. The have excellent wifi at the hotel so I will update my friends on this forum (as well as my enemies!) from time to time.
