1. A lot of choices here. We could clear the midpoint with 13/10(4), or make the bar point with 13/7(2), or make an outer and an inner point with 13/10(2) 6/3(2) or 13/10(2) 5/2(2), or make two inner points with 6/3(2) 5/2(2), or finally we could switch points with 9/3(2). Doublets don't have to be played in pairs but I don't see any non-doublet candidates here (13/1* is illegal). Normally in a holding game, our strategy should be to work on clearing our outfield points safely, so that would point to 13/10(4) or 13/7(2). However, White has a guard on her ace point, which means that even if we bring all our outfield points up close safely, we may still have some trouble bearing in. I would play 6/3(2) 5/2(2) here. It puts those otherwise idle spares on the 6pt and 5pt to good use, and neutralizes White's rear checker and even threatens to attack it. We should still be able to play most rolls comfortably despite our weak outer board.
2. The play that jumps out at me here is the double slot, 8/2* 7/4. We want to fill in those home-board points while White's board is still weak. The safe play of 9/6 7/1 amounts to paying later when it will probably be more dangerous to do so.
3. 7/1 is the obvious 6, but then we'd either have to stack up with 9/6 or create two blots with 8/5 or 7/4. The alternative seems to be 8/5 8/2. I don't like 9/6 7/1 because again I think we should try to slot the troublesome gaps in our board while it's not yet fatal to get hit. But leaving a double shot seems to much so I play 8/5 8/2.
