I see three moves worth considering:

  • 13/3(2)
  • 13/3, 8/3, 7/2
  • 13/3, 8/3, 6/1

At this stage, I don't think Blue should consider making his 1pt. That is tactical maneuver that is best resereved for those times when you can hit. Since I don't want to make the 1pt, I am also reluctant to start it.

Because the bar point has a reduced value after an opponent makes your 5pt, and because this roll of 55 has given Blue a small racing advantage, I would not leave a blot on the 7pt.

By process of elimination, then, my move is: 13/3, 8/3, 7/2
