Thanks, Stick. By assumptive Nactation, one could say that hitting obvious, and so must be accorded a higher rank than any non-hit. As you know, I am working my way through the openings and replies here at BGO, and in the process, I am trying to nactate the rollouts using strict Nactation. It's giving me a great education in Nactation, along with the occassional headache provided by a roll such as this. If my explanation of the rules is correct, then the conclusion, strictly speaking, that u = 24/22 24/20* must be correct. On the other hand, if my explanation of the rules is wrong, then it should be possible to exlain a refinement or misunderstanding about the rules. As you said, I await elucidation from Nack. Mike
