If we are going to play safe, 6/5 6/3 is the only play. If we are going to hit, we want to minimize shots I think, so that would be 13/12* 11/8. If we are going to leave only indirects, 11/8 3/2 looks the smoothest. I suspect that leaving indirects is not right because the problem of clearing the midpoint remains, it seems that a lot of problems will remain despit leaving the immediate shots.

The closeness of the race would let me play 13/12* 11/8. That is disastrous after a 2, but wins on the spot on 16 dancing numbers, and the remaining numbers leave us with a substantial advantage, sufficient to turn the cube.
