Sounds good, but IMO those variations don't really deserve the spotlight. White will be hitting back much of the time.

Consider the main position on the left (52D-54D-21$-31) and its variant on the right. Granted, there is a 3-pip degradation in White's priming battle chances (further raising Blue's incentive to play P); even so, if P's edge over H is not clearly smaller (if smaller at all) in the right-hand position, it seems reasonable to conclude that White's offsetting aspect of having only one checker instead of two on the 11pt is not a substantial factor. (If you're curious, feel free to roll it out or ask me and I will.)
