I would play B/19 without the hit, because I think the way to go about this position is to hit the third checker relatively late so that we can more easily trap Black off the anchor.

But it is a difficult position, I am not sure whether what I say makes sense, don't know when it becomes right to hit the third, and I don't know how to find out what is the best way to go about this one.
