In Response To: Cube action ATS? (John O'Hagan)

My guess: a small to medium error to cube.

There are a few sequences which work very well for us, but because we're 3 away 4 away, we don't regret these sequences very much at all. So if we hold off and crush, we can play on for the gammon and go Crawford 4. And if we don't the cube's still in the centre and we have the opportunity of passing to go 3-3. But it's on the fair few sequences where it goes wrong that we regret having given away a very effective cube to our opponent. He'll be able to recube us with impunity where our take point must be fairly high.
