Nactations of 61P-31P-33 — Y (Yoga split) Family — Correction

Correction: This post completely replaces the preceding post. The earlier post erroneously ranked the Yoga split family using the 6pt Convention. It should have used the Most-Points Convention. I have repeated the entire post (with corrections) below. As a cruel joke not-so-carefully disguised as helpful advise, Paul suggests playing 24/21(2) 8/5 6/3 in the position below. The only question he asks is, "How do you nactate that?"
61P-31P-33 Position ID: sGfwATDg2+ABMA Match ID: cIkNAAAAAAAA The post entitled Nactation of Doublets (complete table) tells you everything you need to know. The table below has been copied from that post.

- Far — The entire move is made on the far side of the board, including entering a checker from the bar. The checker can land anywhere on the far side, from the midpoint on up.
- Down — A move made to or within the outer board. The checker must land in the outer board on the near side, but can be moved from any point in either outer board.
- Jump — Jumping over the bar means moving a checker from a point in the outer board, and landing on a point in the inner board.
- Inside — A checker is moved entirely within the inner board, including checkers that are borne off.
In the case of 24/21(2) 8/5 6/3, two checkers are played on the far side, one checker jumps over the bar, and one more is played inside. As the ratios Far:Down:Jump:Inside are 2:0:1:1, the move is part of the Y (Yoga split) family. The only other play in this position that has the same ratios is 24/21(2) 7/4 6/3.
A close check of the foregoing table, however, will reveal that there is another set of ratios that belong to the Y (Yoga split) family. They are Far:Down:Jump:Inside = 2:1:0:1. This means that there is a third member of the Y (Yoga split) family, namely 24/21(2) 13/10 6/3. Unlike the other two plays, this one keeps both the 7pt and the 8pt.
To rank these three plays, one uses the Hit/Most/Six Rule. As none of the plays makes a hit, the Hit Convention is irrelevant.
Under the Most-Points Convention, the play that retains both the 7pt and the 8pt ranks first in the family. Thus, 24/21(2) 13/10 6/3 is awarded capital Y.
To rank the other two plays, we use the 6pt Convention. The first part of the 6pt Convention compares the locations of made points. Holding points closer to the 6pt is preferred. By this measure, the position that keeps the 7pt outranks the position that keeps the 8pt, and 24/21(2) 8/5 6/3 is awarded second place in the Yoga split family. Third place goes to 24/21(2) 7/4 6/3.
