Errors on the draw sheet are bad news, so it is important to take extra care to keep them accurate.

You didn't say exactly what the error was.

1. If you played the wrong R2 winner, then you are at least partly to blame because you could have checked the draw sheet and seen that you were to have played the winner of a different match. Likewise your opponent should have noticed. The best solution is to void your R3 match and replay it against the correct opponent.

2. If the wrong player was posted as winner of your opponent's R2 match, that player should have realized he was no longer in the main draw. If he had won his match against you, the match cannot count, so it also shouldn't count just because you happened to win. In this case too, the best solution is to void your R3 match and replay it against the correct opponent.
