Wow! Looks like XG got slammed with a bunch of 1s and 5s.

With this great roll, I don’t want to play up to 19pt. XG has too much ammo trained there. Let’s enter on the 21pt, hitting, and just stay put.

After that, moving 8/6 seems like the safest play. From the bar, XG can hit with any 7, as well as a 1, 2 or 5 in combination with a 3. That’s 12 shots in all, not counting the many loose hits XG may try on its side of the board.

The only alternative I see is the risky slot of the 5pt. XG could hit with any 5, plus 1 or 2 in combination with a 2. That makes 18 shots total, again ignoring the loose hits opposite.

XG is going to attack with all its might. Putting a blot in direct range on the 5pt gives XG the chance to hit twice, and that’s a chance we cannot afford.
