Priming position

Hi,
I guess you mean : 8/4 8/5 when you say priming position.
The risk is 1/3 but effectively it's lower, since you have return shots.
Let's say the risk is 25%.
What about 8/5 20/16, the risk is (45,D4,D2,D1,31,34,16).
Effectively probably about the same risk, but with less reward.
Then there is the supersafe 6/2 5/2.
If white does not split the next move blue can come down with 2 checkers from the midpoint,
with good pressure on the 4 and 5-point-gap.
The we also have the escape move 20/13 and the riskier move 13/10 13/9.
You posted a very nice position.
My list is as follows:
1. 8/4 8/5
2. 6/2 5/2
3. 20/13
4. 20/16 8/5
5. 13/10 13/9
