In Response To: Dripping with irony (Timothy Chow)

The Golden Rule as mentioned in the article Stick referred to (do nothing that does not contribute to winning) vs. the Confucian (etc) one (reciprocity).

I like the first golden rule, but with the restrictions of the second, or at least while refraining from unsportsmanlike behavior. I'd never throw a temper tantrum to distract my opponent, for example.
