Well said, Chuck. There was a time, indeed, when we accepted "this kind of bullshit" in the backgammon world. And I, like you, would not like to see those days return.

Nor am I sure that I quite understand Stick's point re this article. We should never do anything over the board that does not help us win? It's one thing when Vince Lombardi tells that to his kids in the locker room; but free adults often engage in sport for a variety of other reasons.
