This position looks like it could be reached in fewer rolls, but I guess not.

Clearly the ace hits. With the deuce, 13/11 leaves too easy a return shot without clear compensation, and 24/22 is too risky. OTOH, stacking with 10/8 or 8/6 is clearly too conservative. That leaves only two plays worth serious contemplation.

On autopilot, I'm sure I'd play h (hit, 11/10* 11/9), but you are posting the position for a reason. The more I look at it the more I like N (Near, 11/10* 6/4). I especially like N at dmp. Conjuring an extra checker into play makes it easier to win. (Note that immediate rolls of 62 and 53 are embarrassing for White.)
