At least two of the world's best players will provide commentary on the USBGF National Internet Championship's Open Division finals: Neil Kazaross(confirmed); Bob Wachtel(confirmed); Kit Woolsey; Stick Rice.

USBGF National Internet Championship: Watch the Finals Saturday January 21!

The finals of the inaugural USBGF National Internet Championship, co-directed by Joe Russell and Justin Nunez, will be played Saturday January 21 at 9 am Pacific Time (Noon Eastern Time and 12:00 GGT). Dorn Bishop (dorn) and Svilen Todorov (aka Svilo) will play for the USBGF National Internet Championship Open Division title. They will play a best two-out-of three 11-point match set. Should the undefeated Dorn win the set, he will win the championship. Should Svilo win, another best two-out-of-three set for another day will determine the champion.

In one of the largest online U.S. backgammon tournaments ever, 191 players began the long journey to the finals including: the Intermediate Division with 33 players, the Advanced Division with 47 players, and the Open Division with 111 players! Joe Roth has captured the Intermediate title and Bruce Newberg won the Advanced division title. Whispering kibitzers welcomed.
