The last cube of the second match today. We will play two more on Saturday for a total of 7 matches this tournament. Dog fight.

I hate him! Yes! He is doing miseries to me all the time. If I take my gammons are completely devalued. But his gammons skyrocket in value as precious metals these days.

He has a flexible midpoint to play from, but he is a little hampered in his threats department, because he has only one spare on his 6. When he hits lose from the 6 he will have only one direct cover (supposed I miss). I felt it is an easy take for money - given his golden perforation, but the match score and my brittle forward position made me very nervous. I needed quite some persuasion on my soul to take this and I knew I could be wrong. The last straw that made me take is my estimate that he is the better player - this means I could take just a little more liberally.
