I have no temptation to take down our broken five-point prime, for instance, by playing 7/3 7/2, so that leaves running or temporizing. Temporizing, by leaving 2 inside blots, has its problems, but running seems worse. Running gives attacking options to stripped opponent. I especially do not want to give White a decent 6.

My vote: N (Near) = 13/8, 6/2
